  • Getting Started with Skustack

In this article, we’ll take you through the essential steps to get started with Skustack and make the most of its features. Our step-by-step instructions will help you install the application, configure the necessary settings, and manage your bins seamlessly.
  • One Way Transfer

One Way Transfers are a straightforward method for moving multiple items or units into or out of bins. They differ from Warehouse to Warehouse Transfers in terms that you don’t need to specify a source location when bringing inventory in, or a destination when moving inventory out.
  • Inventory Transfer Tab Overview

This article provides an overview of the four different types of inventory transfers located within Skustack’s Transfer tab. Transfers are a key aspect of managing inventory in any warehouse or distribution center.
  • SKU to SKU Transfer

SKU to SKU transfer is a seamless method for transferring physical inventory from one product to another. It is typically used when a product is being rebranded, refurbished, or when inventory needs to be consolidated from one SKU to another. In contrast to the One Way Transfer, the SKU to SKU transfer allows for two-way movements of inventory.
  • Manage Products

Catalog and product management are essential aspects of everyday warehouse operations, particularly when it comes to maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of all the products in your inventory. Seamlessly update dimensions, print product or case labels, view serial numbers, manage expiration dates, and more.
  • Receive RMA

The Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process is the recommended workflow for managing order returns. RMAs allow you to track returns from the initial customer contact to the receipt of the returned items in your warehouse.
  • Export Bin Information

Exporting bin data to a spreadsheet lets you effectively analyze your current warehouse layout, optimize space utilization, and identify bins with low inventory. The Skustack Admin portal lets you export bin data either individually or in bulk.
  • Bin Cycle Counts

Accurate inventory count is crucial for any warehouse operations, and one key aspect of this is conducting regular cycle counts. Skustack’s Bin Cycle Count can simplify this process by allowing you to scan bins and generate audit reports that highlight count discrepancies.
  • Serial Numbers

A serial number is a unique identifier assigned to a product or device. It is used to distinguish and track individual items within a larger set or inventory. Serial numbers are typically alphanumeric codes that are assigned by the manufacturer and they are usually found on various items such as electronics (e.g., smartphones, computers), appliances, and more.
