Import FBA Inbound Shipment

Overview

Once a shipment is created in Seller Central, the Skustack Admin simplifies the import process and ensures that inventory is reserved and deducted accurately based on the shipment quantities.

When importing an unshipped shipment, the Box Content Feed selection will not be imported from Seller Central and must be configured manually.

To successfully import FBA Inbound shipments into the Skustack Admin, you must have valid Amazon credentials and your company must be FBA enabled. Contact your onboarding representative or Sellercloud Support for assistance.
If you’re importing a shipment with kits, it is recommended to enable Client Setting Auto Assemble Kit When Importing FBA Shipment to automate the kit assembly process. Alternatively, kits can also be assembled manually. Learn more about that here.

Import FBA Inbound Shipments

To import an FBA shipment:

  1. Create the FBA inbound shipment in Seller Central.
  2. Complete the shipping plan process and approve the shipment.
  3. Navigate to the Skustack Admin portal at https://xx.skustack.com (replace “xx” with your server ID or team name).
  4. Enter your login credentials.
  5. On the left, select Fulfillment > Import FBA Inbound Shipment.
  6. Enter the Amazon Shipment ID and click the blue arrow icon to preview the shipment.
  7. In the Preview tab, click the green flag icon to import the shipment.

The Preview page may show important information regarding potential import issues, such as “Kit not set as Independent,” “SKU doesn’t exist,” and “SKU is not set to FBA.” Address the specified issues and preview the shipment again to confirm that they have been resolved.

By default, open shipments will import with a Working status. You can also see the imported shipment on the Manage FBA page.

If the shipment was already shipped in Seller Central, it will import with a Closed status, and inventory will be deducted from the specified Ship From warehouse. A movement record will appear on the Inventory Movement page.

For fully shipped shipments, you must select a Ship From warehouse that is not bin-enabled. This is necessary because a bin cannot be determined automatically upon import.
